Scioto County 4-H Project Requirements

General 4-H Policies

All 4-H clubs should read and have a working knowledge of the General 4-H Policies as well as the Project Requirements dealing with their specific project area(s).

The General 4-H Policies include (but are not limited to):  General 4-H Guidelines & History of 4-H; Project Exhibitor Rules; Cloverbuds; Fund Raising & Treasury; Across County Lines; Thank You Contest, 4-H Camp, Queen Contest, Fair Booth & Beautification, Charter Application, Volunteer Information & Application, Club How To's, Demonstration & Illustrated Talks, Fair & Pre-Fair Schedules, Community Service, Health & Safety Speaking, Creative Writing, Verse & News Reporting, Still Projects, Group Projects, and Small Animal Projects- including Pet Rabbits.

Scioto County 4-H Horse Project Requirements

Includes Rules, Regulations and forms for Horses, as well as Fair Overnight Application.  Please be sure to read Sections A - Q of the General 4-H Policies for further guidelines and information relating to horse projects.

Scioto County 4-H Livestock Project Requirements

Includes:  Rules, Regulations and forms for Livestock Animals (Breeding, Market and Other), as well as Showman of Showmen Contest, Skillathon, Carcass and Scrapie information.  Please be sure to read the General 4-H Policies for further guidelines and information.
