    Day 2 will be held from 8:30 am - 1:00 pm. Classes will be held at the Wheelersburg Baptist Church Community Center, 11725 Gallia Pike Road, Wheelersburg, OH.  You must attend both days to take the exam.  The test is administered at the end of the day. Lunch is on your own.

  5. SERVSAFE MANAGER CERTIFICATION-DAY 1

    Oct. 05, 2023 8:00am to 5:00pm

    ServSafe® Food Safety Training is being offered by OSU Extension, Scioto County.  Food safety training is encouraged and, in some cases, required by your local health department and Ohio Department of Health as per the Ohio Food Code. A registration fee of $150 is non-refundable for both the class and exam.

  6. Wildlife Walk in the Woods

    Sep. 16, 2023 12:00pm to 3:00pm

    Join us on Saturday, September 16, 2023 from12:00pm-3:00pm, for a 1/2 mile loop walk in the woods of Shawnee State Park. Stations will be set up on the trails with experts on Whitetail Deer, Wild Turkeys, Black Bear and Bobcats. The nature center will be open as well and a healthy snack will be provided by OSU Extension SNAP-Ed Program Assistants. This event is FREE. Register for this event by September 10, 2023 by calling the Scioto County OSU Extension office at 740-354-7879.
