    All projects must be weighed and/or identified at an official county tagging (for that project) during the current 4-H project year. 4-H’ers must all appropriate enrollment and identification forms on file in the Extension Office for the current year. Only entries meeting these standards are eligible for exhibition, show and/or sale at the fair.

    Youth who are enrolled in the Market Chicken project can pick up their chicks on Thursday, June 23rd, 2016.  Chicks will be available for pick up between 2:00 pm and 4:30 pm ONLY!  Please call Josi at (740) 354-7879 if you have any questions.

    ALL CANDY and BEEF STICK MONEY IS DUE to the Scioto County 4-H Committee Treasurer, Carolyn Garrett by the end of the day.  Please mail payments to the address on the invoice that was provided.  We cannot accept payment at the OSU Extension Office.

    Hog ID Forms due to Extension Office by 4:30pm. We are NOT tagging Hogs again for 2016.  We will follow the same procedure as 2015. If you have questions regarding this process, please contact the Extension Office.

    Deadline for final additions/changes to 4-H Enrollment for participation (youth enrolled after May 1st can participate in all activities other than the county and state fair judging’s.) Deadline for final changes and additions to Horse ID Forms, Permission to Participate, Lease & Production Agreements; due in Scioto Office. Deadline for Final Changes to Alpaca Projects; due in the Scioto County Office.

    STEM Camp Registrations due to the Adams County Extension Office by 4:30 pm.

    Lamb & Goat Tagging! All Lamb and Goat Projects (market, carcass, breeding, pack, dairy, etc.) must be identified at tagging. All Lambs and Goats must have  official Scrapie ID prior to tagging. All goats must be properly dehorned and completely healed by fair.  Lambs will be from 7:00 am to 8:00 am.  Goats will be from 8:00 to 10:00 am.

    Spring Fling 3rd, 4th & 5th Grade over Night Camp at Canters Cave. Pre-Registration required by 4/15!
