Food Preservation has made a comeback!  Learn how to safely and easily can and freeze your fruits, vegetables, soups, stews, and meats at home for year-round goodness.  Pressure canner gauge testing will also be offered on-site following the programs. (There is a $5.00 charge for this service)

Anyone who wants more information about water bath or pressure canning, freezing, or making jellies and jams can participate. Our first FREE class is schedule for February 5th at the Portsmouth Public Library.  This class will focus on preserving meats, soups, and stews.  You can register for any of the workshops by calling 740-354-7879.   Attendance is limited so be sure to register early!
